About

Peter Chamberlain is a sound designer from the enchanting neighborhood of Washington DC known as Mount Pleasant. Now based in the Tuscan region of Italy.

Peter grew up with close friends where at an early age they sought out to create stories with a DVD camcorder, a tape recorder, and an excitement for creating film.

Following this passion for storytelling, Peter earned two graduate degrees in both Film and Media Arts and Audio Technology at American University. Between these programs and his freelancing experience, he learned how to utilize his love for music, sound, and all the auditory textures around us to help strengthen stories.

When Peter is not mixing audio for film and TV, he is relaxing in the volcanic hot springs near his home, catching up with friends in Rome, or taking long drives along the coast.
